TRAINING SCHEDULE

WE'RE BACK!

Level 5 Lockdown's are now a thing of the past. Let's hope they stay that way. Organised training for the adult members of the club can now resume.

Swim

Coached open water sessions will resume at Sandybanks Clonmel, weather and river conditions permitting. It is hoped that coached pool sessions with Jane will resume in June. Unfortunately we have had to cancel the coached swimming for Monday the 17th May as river conditions were not suitable after the heavy rains at the weekend. Keep an eye on your club emails for updates on sessions for Monday 24th and following Mondays. We look forward to getting back into the river.

These sessions will be coached by Ian and supported by kayak, good practice to get used to open water swimming and the river if you haven't done it before.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Bike:

Organised bike spins are also resuming from the Railway station in Clonmel, usually on Sunday mornings but also other days if enough people want to go out together.

White Group 1 : Novice / Beginner: Pace and duration appropriate to the group on the day.

Green Group 2Pace - 22 - 24km per hour, duration 1 to 2 hours

Orange Group 3Pace - 24 - 26km per hour, duration 2 to 3 hours

Yellow Group 4 : Pace - 26 - 28km per hour, duration 2 to 3 hours 

Red Group 5 : Pace - 30 - 32km per hour, duration 3 to 4 hours

TT Series: 

It is hoped that all going well the TT series will be run off in June. Watch this space........

 

Run :

As of now in May there are no organised run sessions back yet but it is hoped to recommence these soon.
